  1. Q1: The advantages of including a primary key in a table are that it uniquely identifies each record in a table, Access does not allow duplicate values in the primary key field allowing uniqueness of the primary field, with the primary key there could be no null value, when there is a primary key access puts the data in a primary key sequence, and access responds faster to specific requests when there is a primary key.

Q2: The basic steps when creating a database are to identify all fields needed to produce the required information, organize each piece of data into its smallest useful part, group related fields into tables, determine each table's primary key, include a common field in related tables, avoid data redundancy, and determine the properties of each field.

Q3: You define a field in Design view by first in the Field Name box, type the name for the field, and then press the Tab key, Accept the default Text data type, or click the arrow and select a different data type for the field. Press the Tab key, enter an optional description for the field if necessary, and use the Field Properties pane to type or select other field properties, as appropriate.

  2. Q1: A primary key uniquely identifies each record in a table. Access does not allow duplicate values in the primary key field. When a primary key has been specified, Access forces you to the enter a value for the primary key field in every record in the table.Access displays records bt default in order by the field values of the primary key. Access responds faster to our requests for specific records based on the primary key.

Q2:Organize each piece of data into its smallest useful part. Group related fields into tables. Determine each table's primary key. Include a common field in relaed tables. Avoid data redundancy.

Q3:In the Field Name box, type the name for the field, and then press the Tab key. Accept the default Text data type, or click the arrow and select a different data type for the field. Press the Tab key. Enter an optional description for the field, if necessary. Use the Field Properties pane to type or select other field properties, as appropriate.

  4. Q1: The advantages of having a primary key is that it uniquely identifies each record in a table. Access does not allow duplicate values in the primray key field.Preventing duplicate values ensures the uniqueness of the primary key field. One can enter records in any order but Access displays them by default in order by the field values of the primary key. With the primary key, there can be no null value. With a primary key in tact access reponds faster to one's requests for specific records based on the primary key.

Q2: The steps for creating a database is first one has to organize each piece of data into its smallest useful parts. Second one should group related fields into tables. Third one should determine each table's primary key. Fourth one should include a common field in related fields. Fifth one should avoid data redundancy. Lastly one should determine the properties of each field.

Q3:In the Field Name box, type the name for the field , and then press the Tab key. Accept the default Text data type, or click the arrow and select a different data type for the field. Press the Tab key. Enter an optional description for the field, if necessary. Use the Field Properties pane to type or select other field properties, as appropriate.

  5. Question 1
A Primary key uniquely identifies each record in a table.
Access does not allow duplicate values in the primary key field.
When a primary key has been specified there could be no null value
Access stores records on disk as you enter them you can enter records in any order but access displays them by defalut by the field value of the primary key.
Access responds faster to your requests for specific records based on the primary key.

    Question # 2
Organize each piece of data into its smallest useful part
    Group related fields into tables
    determine each tables primary key
include a common field in related tables
    avoid data redundancy
Determine the properties of each field

    Question # 3

In field name box type the name for the field and then press the tab key.
Accept the default text data type or click the arrow and select a different data type for the field press the tab key
enter an optional description for the field if necessary
use the field properties pane to type or select other field properties as appropriate.

  6. Q1. Some advantages of including a primary key in a table are:
-A primary key uniquely each record in a table
-With a primary key there could be no null value
-Access responds faster to your requests for specific records based on the primary key
-Access displays records by default in order by the field values of the primary key. This way, you are ensured that you will later be able to work with them in a more meaningful, primary key sequence

Q2. Basic steps for creating a new database are:
-Identify all the fields needed to produce the required information
-Organize each piece of data into its smallest useful part
    -Group related fields into tables
    -Determine each table's primary key
-Include a comon field in related tables
    -Avoid data redundancy

Q3.You define a field in design view by:
-In the fiels Name box, type the name for the field, and then press the tab key
-Accept the default Text data type, or click the arrow and select a different data type for the field. Press the Tab key
-Use the Field Properties pane to type or select other field properties, as appropriate

  8. Q1.) Although Access does not require a table to have a primary key, there are some advantages that a primary key can offer. The advantages that the primary key offers are: 1.)A primary key uniquley identifies each record in a table 2.)Access does not allow copying values in the primary key feild. Preventing duplicate values ensures the uniqueness of the primary key field. 3.)Access saves records on the disk as you enter them. 4.)When a primary key has been specified, Access forces you to enter a value for the primary key field in every record in the table. 5.) Acces responds faster to your requests for specific records based ib the primary key.

Q2.)The basic steps you should use when creating a new database are: 1.)To organize each piece of data into its smallest useful part 2.)Group related fields into tables 3.)Determine each table's primary key 4.)Include a common field in related tables 5.)Avoid data redundancy 6.)Determine the properties of each field.

Q3.) You define a field in a Design view by in the Field Name box, type the name for the field, and then press the Tab key. Then accept the default Text data type, or click the arrow and then select a different data type for the feild. Then press the Tab key. 9. 1. The advantage of including a primary key in a table is that the primary key uniquely identifies each record in a table. A primary is not madatory, but it's great if you have one. When a primary key has been specified, Access forces you enter a value for the primary key feild in every record in the table.
    2. The basic steps you should use when creating a new database are identify all the fields needed to produce the required information, organize each peice of data into its smallest useful part, group related fields into tables, determine table's primary, incude a common field in related tables, and avoid data reduncy, determine the properties of each field.
    3. In the feild Name box, type the name for the field, and then press the Tab key. Enter an optional description for the field, if necessary. Use the field properties pane to type or select other field properties, as appropies.

  10. A primary key identifies each record in a table and you cannot get 2 primary keys in a table when a primary key is specified you have to add a value in the feild if you dont then it will have a null value when you have a primary key it puts the values in order a primary key makes your quieres and your requests faster.
The baisic steps you should use when creating a new data base are identify all the feilds needed to produce the required information, organize each part of database into its smallest useful part, group related feilds in a table, determine the primary key, include a common key in related tables, and avoid redudancy.
You define a key in design view by typing the feild name then press tab exept the default text data typeor any different format you want then press tab if you want you can add a discription use the feild property pane to select other feild properties

  11. The advantages of including a primary key in a table is that it uniquely identifies each record in a table. Access does not allow duplicate values in the primary key field. When a pirmary key has been specified, access forces you to enter a value for the primary key field in every record in the table. That is called entity intergrity. Access stores records in disk as you enter them. It also responds faster to your request for specific records based on the primary key. The basic steps you should use when creating a new database are identify all the fields needed to produce the required information, organize each piece of data into smallest useful part, group related fields into tables, determine each tables primary key, include a common field in related tables, and avoid data redundancy. 13. 1. The advantages of including a primary key in a table is that it identifies each record in a table, it does not allow duplicate values in the primary key field, Access forces you to enter a value for the primary key field in every record in the table called the entity integrity, Access stores records on disks as they are entered, and there is faster responce to your requests for specific records based on the primary key.

    2. The basic steps you should use in creating a new database is: -identifying all the fields
    needed to produce the
    required information.
    data into its smallest
    -organizing each piece
    of data into its
    smallest useful part.
    - Grouping related
    fields into tables.
    - Determining each
    table's primary key.
    - Including a common
    field in related
    tables.
    - Avoiding data
    redundancy.

    3. You define a field in design view by:
    1) In the field box, type the name for
the field, and then press the tab key.
    2) Accept the default text data type, or
click the arrow and select a differnt
data type for the field. Press the tab
    key.
    3) Enter an optional description for the
    field, if needed.
    4) Use the field prpoerties pane to type or
    select other field properties, as
    appropriate.
